Well, how about that! Here it is June, 2011 and we’re still here! May 21 was a gorgeous day after a week of rain, and the world didn’t end, and Jesus did not return for His followers. So we can assume, then, that He will never come to take them to His home in heaven, and Christians are holding on to a false hope, right?
WRONG !
If we pay attention to what Jesus says, [and who would know better], when it does happen, it will be on a day when it is not expected.
“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
First, Jesus says that what He says will
remain far beyond the duration of heaven and earth.

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Second, Jesus says that only God the Father knows the day or hour when it will all happen. [Speaking from a servant’s perspective,

Third, Jesus says that His return will be a total surprise.
“So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.” – Matt. 24:44
Fourth, Jesus says that we need to ready now because He is coming back when we least expect Him.
So, October 21, 2011 [the next predicted date] won’t be the day either—or will it? Maybe, if Jesus has not returned by then, you will have become so disinterested and hard-ened, that you definitely will not expect Him to return on a day designated by Harold Camping. So that might be the day!

ARE YOU READY?
Jesus could come on the day you are reading this. Are you ready? Are you His follower? Have you admitted to Him that you can’t save yourself? Have you confessed your sins and asked Him to forgive them all? Have you received Him as your Savior and Master?
If not, you are not ready. You will be left behind for judgment from a holy God.

One final thought. To those of you who were planning parties on May 21, to celebrate the non-existence of God, I say this: “I hope you enjoyed your parties, because, even though you were unaware of it, you were celebrating the fact that a loving, forgiving, kind, and patient God was giving you further time to repent of your arrogance and humble yourselves before Him, so that the following won’t apply to you:”
If not, you are not ready. You will be left behind for judgment from a holy God.
